What to Bring to Your Appointment

To ensure smooth processing, please bring:

  • Two valid government-issued IDs

    • One must be a photo ID

  • Any supporting documents or reference letters, if applicable

    • I.e., IRCC letter, Letter of Instruction,

Arrival and ID verification

Our technician will verify your identity using your two pieces of government-issued ID and match them to your application.

Fingerprint Capture

We’ll collect your fingerprints digitally (Live Scan) or using ink and roll, depending on your specific application requirements.

Submission

We securely transmit your digital prints to the RCMP or applicable government agency. Ink and roll fingerprints are completed and handed to you for direct mailing.

Confirmation & Receipt

You’ll receive a receipt for your records.

    Most results are processed within 72 hours

  • Flagged Files

    May take up to 120 days, depending on RCMP review

  • FBI (U.S.) Ink Submissions

    Typically processed in 2-4 weeks, depending on mailing and U.S. timelines

  • Name-Based Criminal Checks

    Results typically emailed the same day

Vulnerable Sector (VS) Fingerprinting

We can assist with VS fingerprinting only if you have been referred by your local Police Service. You must bring an official Letter of Instruction to your appointment.
